Anjula is a Consultant psychology and mental health expert, Life and careers coach, and social scientist- with a wealth of experience in a diversity of settings - from Kent university working with students experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional challenges, to the cut and thrust of the City as a stress management consultant, Careers counsellor, Outplacement specialist and Director of Emotional Intelligence training in the work place. Anjula is also trained in managing critical Incident and post-trauma cases , and has worked with a wide range of clients from victims of crime to victims of major incidents.
In this climate of great uncertainty and job insecurity Anjula is putting her numerous skills to excellent use, as a career management consultant with top coaching firms- offering tailor made advice and support to clients.
She made her debut television appearance back in 2000, as the-screen Counselling Psychology expert on Big Brother - Series 1. Her key focus was relationships, conflicts resolution, body language and social interaction. From there, she was invited as an expert commentator on a wide range of issues- such as Right to Reply, where she gave critical analysis of the Documentary Boy Meets Girl. She has made numerous appearances on GMTV, The Wright stuff and BBC breakfast. Anjula was resident Psychologist on RI:SE for 9 weeks, covering Big Brother 4, then went on to become the regular psycholgy and mental health expert on ITV1`s This Morning for 5 years. She has been invited to contribute on a wide range of documentaries, from: Sexual Taboos for Carlton, "How Gay are you"? for Sky 1, a three part series for five on Celebrities, How to find a Husband-UKTV style, GenerationX-cess for ITV2, Feel the fear for CITV, co-anchor on fives Doctor Doctor, Expert presenter on Family Contract, to name but a few. Anjula has appeared on a diversity of shows with Lorraine Kelly for Sky real lives- from DNA stories to Missing Children, as well as The One Show, and Tonight with Trevor McDonald. Anjula has made regular appearances on BBC1`s Big Questions- tackling moral and religious dilemmas.
Anjula co-presented an exciting and insightful 8 part series on Sky 1 called- Body language secrets.
How to have sex after marriage- on channel 5. Presented by Anjula. A groundbreaking relationship series, which took couples on a real emotional journey of self discovery. Now being shown all over the world from Australia to Latin America!
Anjula researched, wrote and presented Diversity Works for Radio 4- looking at how couples from different backgrounds- make their relationships work for them. This programme was pick of the week.

Anjula has recently accepted the role of ambassador for BME Cancer voice (part of the NHS)- to support and encourage ethnic minorities to seek advice and support on healthcare issues. Anjula feels very honoured to have been asked to undertake such an important role. She enjoyed being at the big launch at The House of Commons recently, and appreciated being invited to say a few words!
She is also very excited to be the new regular relationship expert with Top Sante magazine.
Anjula recently recorded a show for the BBC world service called "The trouble with condoms". This will be heard around the world.
Anjula has just finished filming a 12 part series called My naked secret for the Discovery Channel and TLC- where she helps, counsels and supports people dealing with issues of body image, self worth and confidence. This touching and compelling series see 12 different individuals go on a truly moving roller coaster journey of self discovery. This series will be shown in the UK and US before a global roll out.
